OR Books at Alexandra

A week of fine dining at the OR Books pop-up bookstore at Alexandra in NYC

October 18th - October 25th

"OR Books will be erecting their very own pop-up book shop at Alexandra (455 Hudson between Barrow and Morton), a restaurant in the West Village , which they’re calling a restORrant. The event kicks off with a cocktail party on Friday night at 6pm and runs through Thursday, Oct. 24. All week long OR authors will be dining at the restaurant, and a free e-book will be served to patrons with each meal. Of course, OR’s catalogue of paperbacks will be available for sale and perusal throughout the week."

About the RestORant

For a week this October, enjoy the entire OR list of progressive, off-beat books together with the delicious food and wine served at Alexandra. Diners can browse the OR Books catalog, purchase paperbacks, and download e-books. A free e-book will be served with every meal. OR authors will be dining at Alexandra throughout the week. OR Books and Alexandra hope to demonstrate that, despite the much-mourned decline of high street bookselling, publishers can still find innovative, new ways of bringing writers and readers together, to share discussion about books over a bottle of wine or a serving of pasta.
