FAQ

Are OR books available worldwide?

Yes. We print our books in the US and the UK and ship anywhere in the world, debiting your credit card for the dollar price converted to your local currency at prevailing exchange rate.

How long does it take for a book to get to me?

We ship our books to you direct from our printers: single copies ship within two business days of receiving your order; for orders of multiple copies, please allow a week to ten days for shipping. In the US we offer both Priority mail, which takes two to three days, and media mail, which may take up to two weeks. You choose your preferred method in the shopping cart. In the UK and Europe the books are sent via Royal Mail. Customs duties, if applicable, are the responsibility of the customer. If you need the book urgently, or have additional questions about prices and times of arrival, please write to us at orders [at] orbooks.com.

Why am I being asked to reset my password?

We have recently revamped our website and migrated to a new store to give our customers a better user-experience, more robust security and more sturdy interface. Since we have moved from our old store to a new one, we need  you to reset your password to be able to access your previous orders and download the e-books you have purchased. Please note that we are migrating orders from 2010 and process is currently ongoing. Hence, you may not find all your previous orders in place. Kindly allow us some time to complete the migration process. If you need urgent access to any e-book (or order details) from before Jan 8, 2023, please write to us at orders@orbooks.com and we will expedite the process.

Your download link will never expire. Our e-books are DRM-free, and all filetypes are yours to download and use on any devices you may own.

Why am I being asked to pay customs charges?

Important Information Regarding Customs Charges for European Orders

As of 1st January 2021, new rules for exporting from the UK to the EU have been implemented. Please be aware that all shipments to the EU may now be subject to import charges, typically including VAT, which is applied by the government of the recipient country and collected by the courier or postal service handling your parcel. It is important to note that these charges are not determined by OR Books, but by customs agencies in your home country.

What You Need to Know:

  • Customs Charges: Import charges, such as VAT, are not included in the listed price of the books on our website as these charges are contingent upon the regulations of the customs agencies in the recipient countries and may vary accordingly. Therefore, customers should be prepared for potential additional costs upon receiving their order.

  • Requesting Fees Waiver: If you wish to request a fees waiver, we recommend contacting your customs department and declaring the package for non-commercial use. Please note that the decision to waive any fees ultimately lies with the customs authorities of your country.

 Shipping Partners for European Orders:

For European orders, our designated shipping partners are CPI. To verify the authenticity of your package and for any related inquiries, please refer to the following details:
